REFLECTION
14/09/2021
For this lesson we had to animate together still images so that they bounce. To do this I imported the files that were given to us and then put the background image onto the timeline. I then dragged the title image onto the timeline. After this I then started adding keyframes to the first image to make it move form one side of the screen to the other. I then added the head images and added rotation keyframes and position keyframes to make it look like they ae bouncing around on the screen. This task was mainly easy as I had worked with keyframes before but some things were new things which made some part difficult but after doing this task I now know how to do this.

Tracking shots Practise
For this task we had to create a tracking shot for a music video to do this we got into group and decided on a song for the music video. then we decided on a location then got the equipment we needed and filmed the video then we went back to the college and edit the video together. My role in this project was filming. I think that the video overall could have been better we could have added cutaways.
Multi Camera Productions 20/09/21
For this lesson we learnt about what productions use one camera - single camera production and production. Some examples of productions that use multiple cameras are gameshows and sports events multiple cameras are used to make the viewing experience better and it makes it easier to edit later or to switch angle on a live show.
Music Video Test Pacing 21/09/21
For this Task we had to edit video to music and pace the video on the beats of the music. To do this we used premier pro and first listened to the music then added markers on the points where the music spiked.
Colour - 22/09/2021
Music Video - Black and white Video
In this lesson we had to change the colour of the music video edit we to black and white to do this I used the black and white effect which removes the colour from the video after this I Copied the attributes across the the other video clips that I wanted the same black and white effect on.
Colour Palettes - Music Video
For This we had to find a music video that matched some of the colour palettes.

Colour Isolation
For this we had to isolate the red colour in the video we were given to do this We used the leave colour effect and then selected the red colour on the jacket with the colour dropper. Then adjusted the different options and changed RBG to hue which fully isolated the red colour in the video.
Colour Hype 1 -Colour Balance
For this effect we used the colour balance effect which changes how all of the colours in the video look which I adjusted using the effects panel. This effect makes the video look very different to the original footage that was shot. I think that I could use this effect in some parts of the music video that I will be creating.
Colour Hype 2 - Solarize
For this effect I used the Solarize effects in and out to change how the video looks I also changed the threshold every few seconds to create the effect and this added different keyframes. This effect makes the footage look very weird. I don't think that I will use this effect in my music video as I could not think of anything that I would use it for but it could be useful in other projects.
28/09/2021 - Multicam Video Edit
In This lesson we had to to create a multi cam edit with footage that was provided to us. To do this I imported the files into premier pro and put the clips and studio onto the timeline and then synchronised the audio clip with the video clips using the synchronize option. After this I went though The clips looking for the angles that I wanted to show after this I cut the clips together disabling the parts that I did not want to see at certain times.

For this task we were in groups and has to create a multi cam production of a quiz show each person took on a different role camera operator, sound recordist, Contestants, and quizzer. To do this we had the cameras and a microphone in a boom pole for the sound. After this each person of the group had to create their own edit of the multi cam production importing the videos clips then syncing the sound then selecting what clip is shown at what time throughout the video.
Multi Cam Split Screen 29/09/2021
For this task we had to create a slip screen effect to make two video clips play next to each other. To do this I imported the audio and the video clips. Then Make cuts where I wanted the slip screen to come in and to come out. I then moved the position of each video clip and then clopped them so they play next to each other. I then used the edge feather option in the crop function. To make the cut in the middle of both clips look better.
Music Video Recreation - 29/09/2021
For this task we had to recreate some scenes from a music video to do this we each took on different roles and chose a song after we filmed it we edited the video together.
Story Board-4/10/2021
For this lesson had to create a storyboard with some shots that we were thinking of using in our music video this storyboard is not the final storyboard it just has the shots we are thinking of using. After I drew each of the pictures for the different shots I wrote what type of shot it is going to be for example a long shot (LS) or a close up (CU). I then wrote about 3 different things: content, Technical, Stylistic. and wrote about all of these sections.
Music Video- Lyric Videos - 05/10/2021
For this lesson we had to pick a song and create a lyric video for it to this this I dragged the song onto the premier Pro timeline. I then went though the song adding markers to the timeline each time some lyrics were sung. Then I added a new thing for the background and selected a colour, After this I went to the first marker and typed in the lyrics that were sung at the time. I then lined up the text with the markers that I had placed before. I then added keyframes to different sections of the text to make it move at certain points, for example I keyframed the word "WHEN" to come in rom the left and the words "ABOUT YOU" to come in from the right at different timings that matched the lyrics that were being sung.
Hand drawn lyric Video - 6/10/2021
For this task we needed to create a lyric video with hand drawn titles to do this I first found a background video to use I then dragged this into premier pro then I needed to drawn some lyrics on paper and then film them to do this I drew a some lyrics from a song on paper and then used my phone to film the text moving the camera to how I want it to look on the screen.
I then put the video I just filmed onto the computer and put it into premier pro. After this I rotated and scaled the video and lined it up to where I wanted it to be in the final video. I then added the invert effect and then adjusted the effect setting then also adding the brightness and contrast effect and adjusted both of the settings until all shadow had disappeared. I then changed the opacity settings and changed the blend mode to screen which got rid of all of the background that I did not need.
Next I needed to add some keyframes so I could make the text come out and in where I wanted to in the video. most of this task went well the most difficult part was making sure that there was no shadow when filming the hand draw text on the paper. I think that I will use this effect for my music video when I make it, I plant to use this effect for the titles that I am going to have at the beginning I will use this effect instead of just typing text as I can chose how the font will look and will look different to other fonts that are already available.
After Effects - 06/10/2021
For this we had to create three different effects using after effects. The first one I did was the mirror effect to do this I found some footage and imported it to after effects I then added the mirror effect and moved the mirror point to the middle to create the effect.
This effect was quite simple to do I could use something like this when I make my music video as it could make the video look better. The second one was cc light rays that was made by adding in the light waves effect and the moving it each frame this was slightly harder to do than the mirror one.

Digital Storyboard - 12/10/2021
For this task we had to create a digital storyboard of a music video of out choice to do this is I used canva as I could add different graphics onto the storyboard to visually represent some of the shots and scenes from the music video. I chose to create a storyboard on a music for for Sigrid's song burning bridges as it has some got shots in that I wanted to try to create with a storyboard in canva. This task was quite simple as I had used canva before it was also good as I plan to use canva to create the storyboard for my actual music video that I will be making.
Frame rate - 12/10/2021
For this task we had to record different Items at the different frame rates that the camera we were using records in. We then put the footage onto the computer and edited together and added text to each clip of video saying what frames per second the video was recorded in.
Frames Per Second (FPS)
Is how many still images will play within each second of the video for example 50 FPS means that 50 frames or still images are played each second of the video that is playing.
After Effects -13/10/2021
For this task we had to create three different effects in After Effects the first one that we did was to add a glowing line to a video of someone dancing. This one was quite difficult as I had to draw on the line every few frames which took some time to do.1: For the first one we made was a glowing line that went around around someone who was dancing. The second one that we did was a bit more difficult in this we had to import footage that had something square in it and create a line that move around the square in the frame. For the last one we had to go into groups and capture our own footage so one person from out group was in the video while the other filmed and directed the person what to do. After we had recorded the footage we went back into the college and put the footage onto the computer and then put the footage into after effects and started to add the line to each frame by drawing it on and then adding glow effects onto the line the line would then glow and move round the person where I drew the lines then played together will look like the line is moving.

Greenscreen 09/11/2021

For the first greenscreen task we had to key out the green background of the woman with the camera with the ultra key effect in premier pro and them add in the background of the street behind her then used the tools available under the greenscreen effects to make the chroma keyed out video look better trying to remove the green outline at much as possible. This task was quite easy to do as I have used the ultra key effect in premier pro in previous media projects.

For the second greenscreen task We had to create a tv studio setting using the footage we had the first thing that I done was import the tv studio footage to use as the background for the scene I then imported the presenter into the frame and had to scale the video to a size that looked right I then used ultra key to key out the green background that was around the news reporter. after this I imported car footage. I then duplicated the layer of the news reporter and added the vertical flip effect to it then moving the new video clip to match the presenter feet this was to create a shadow effect to try to make the video look more realistic. After this I imported the car footage and scaled it down to roughly the size of the mini greenscreen in the background footage I then used the corner pin effect to get the video in the effect position to match the corners of the mini greenscreen. This was slightly more difficult than the first one as I had not used the shadow and the corner pin before. If I do use the greenscreen in my music video I could use some of the new things learnt by doing the two tasks.
Blog Feedback - 10/11/2021
This is some feedback that I got for my blog after I read though the feedback I started to add and change things on my blog to use the feedback to improve some of the things on my blog. The things I did were move my mindmap and moodboard. On to the pre-production section. I am also going to add more to the research section of the blog- the symbolism section.
